The founder of the event is Hayden Prince of Uxbridge, Ontario. 3 years ago, Hayden had an idea to combine his love of Airsoft with a desire to raise awareness for our local food bank. His events have raised over $11,200 and about 5 tonnes of food for the local Food Bank ( Shooting4Food.com)
Major Matt Prince of the Royal Canadian Regiment is consulting on and will be participating in "Operation Nucleus - Finding Light". Major Prince has served in Afghanistan and runs actual training operations for the Canadian Armed Forces.
Shooting 4 Mental Health is about raising awareness and funds to support mental health programs in our region. Did you know that everyday, 3,000 commit suicide and over 60,000 people attempt suicide worldwide? Mental health, or more specifically - the lack of mental health, affects all of us at one time or another: either personally or someone close to us. Mental disorders are on the rise, but the money to support programs is lagging behind. Shooting 4 Mental Health is my way of doing something about that. So thank you for visiting my website. Your participation in the event or donation are greatly appreciated!
